Finally, some power metal. And not just 'some' power metal, but power metal from Hidaritsuu=cast-P. The main difference is that ‘some’ power metal is about glory, swords, dragons and other hopelessly boring things. Hidaritsuu’s lyrics are a great deal more engaging. A GREAT DEAL, no fucking bullshit! For instance, current song is devoted to fujoshi theme (fuck, an academic research on this crap… where the world is heading?) Of course, Yuzuki Yukari is portrayed as fujoshi in the video. Yukari’s fans should shit bricks, but it seems they even adore this interpretation. The explanation might be simple: a huge chunk of Yukari’s fandom could be fujoshi themselves…
Back to less ambiguous topics. The music itself is a solid power metal, with fervent guitar shredding backed by mighty bass, intense drums and atmospheric symphonic parts. Fujoshi or not, Yukari sings excellent here. Sound quality continues to improve gradually, thanks to CROW'SCLAW's and Kagome-P's efforts. The video, by taka33, is witty too.
