Hatsune Miku & Hakaine Maiko - Psychedelic paranoia

Do you recall my ramblings on ‘experimental’ metal? Well, it turns out rather quickly that I wasn’t overstating things a single bit. Because here we are with “Psychedelic paranoia”, and the title of the song exactly matches its essence. Oh, my poor sanity…

Miku does the main job here, with a little help of Hakaine Maiko. You know, guys, in experimental metal you have to lean on contrasts. Especially when you are dealing with things like ‘psychedelics’ and ‘paranoia’. Well, bass guitar has a distinguished psy-dub cast here. And extremely harsh, twisting sound of electric guitars could drive some weaker souls into paranoia for sure. So at least we can say the song isn’t that lacking…

Judging by this picture, Miku’s mental health is fine enough. So why all this mess with ‘psycho’-theme? Because the song IS ACTUALLY ABOUT YOU, anon, and don’t you even try to deny this ;)))

Video’s art by mori.
