Rin & Len - Frienemy / Wreath

Twins attack! The two songs released by NexDart are far from being twin-like identical but both are awesome in their own kind. ‘Frienemy’, sung by Rin, is a jaunty nasty yet somehow enticing piece. ‘Wreath’, sung by Len, is quite a serious, lyrical and deep thing. Why, a smart trick to please every crowd :)

The producer has released an album not a long time ago, available on Bandcamp. Be sure to check it out!

Sweet child, isn’t she?.. ;)

Kagamine Rin - Allow the Revenge

A stylish nu metal piece with excellent mix and lovely Rin vocals by NexDart. For those who prefer Len over Rin there’s version with him singing on Piapro.

Rin & Len & Lily & Izuriha Saki - Cyber-shikeishuu e no chinkonka

This, gentlemen, is definitely the weirdest audiovisual experience I’ve encountered in a while. Mere words cannot stand up to this psychedelic inferno. Proceed with caution.

Kagamine Len - Other ONE

Len Kagamine is not a frequent a guest on VMW, so this new work by NexDart is rather welcomed. Quite light but solid piece.

Wait, is there another twin?.. ;)

Kagamine Len - Jibun justice

Old-school hard rock with banana boy :) The quality of Vocaloid hard rock is sub-par in most cases, but this work of Na-M (aka Hikitai-na-P; lyrics by Gyuuniku) is a welcomed exception. I find the drums really fetching. Len sounds expressive too. A pinch of punk, a bit of southern – and you’ve got pretty engaging piece!

Kagamine Rin & Len - Sekishinsei: Kamatoto araryouji

Weekend. It turns out that various creepy producers that make music worthy enough for VMW hide somewhere deep in their burrows at weekends. Maybe they just don’t want to ruin all that weekend, you know, *jubiliance*, and *comfort*, and other things. Maybe they’re just drinking or smoking weed. Who knows? The only thing that matters is that we are left one-on-one with some really dreadful stuff. I’m unwilling to name it, but I must…

J-rock.

Yes, j-rock, which I work thoroughly to be not permitted on the pure and shining VMW pages, still squeezes in. We’re losing ground, we need reinforcements! We don’t stand a ghost of a chance against the almighty Suzumu! “Sekishinsei…” is a tide of sound with overwhelming energetics. It’s perfectly paced and perfectly mastered. Add masterful work with Kagamine twins and you get irresistible level of charm. Plus the excellent video (by Saine) for extra balance.

Fucking weekends… ;)

Kagamine Len - CROSSROAD

9th DAMAGE project has released re-mastered version of the song (along with the variant voiced by him). The song was out November last year originally. And now it sounds really delicious! It’s goode olde hard rock, back into the second half of 1970-s, vivid and spirited. Len is a good boy here, the job’s well done!

Len thinks he is so cool that he can tune the guitar by eye. Or by smell? C’mon, Len…

Kagamine Len - Revenge

A new song by “9th Damage” project. For a (welcomed) change, it’s nu metal. Maybe not that **true** broader scene nu metal, but still nu metal is nu metal, no one could argue with that :)
So what else should be mentioned? The tastiest component here is the bassu, which has that awesome evil ringing hue. The worst is… OK, OK, Banana boy, maybe not ‘the worst’, but definitely sub-par. Even you can’t deny it. Next time try to sound more brutal, Len-kun. And more natural. This is not some j-rokku caramel syrup, got it?
